May 14, 9:30AM - 5:30PM. Have you been interested in learning how to free-motion quilt?  What about ruler-work? In this full day event, gain hands-on experience with longarm quilting. You will try several free-motion fill techniques, including McTavishing. There will also be an opportunity to learn the basics of ruler work on a BERNINA Q Series machines. Sherry is a seventh-generation quilter with decades of experience in quilting, custom sewing,
home décor, and costume design.

She completed her first quilt at age 12 and went on to build a multifaceted creative career,
including founding and fabricating for her own custom home décor company. Her work also
includes producing more than 3,000 costumes for her local children's theater and designing
award-winning quilts showcased at the Houston Quilt Festival, the Mancuso World Quilt Show,
and juried gallery exhibitions.

As a certified BERNINA educator and member of the BERNINA Event Team, Sherry travels
nationwide to teach and demonstrate longarm quilting. She specializes in Q-Series quilting,
Q-matic automation, Art and Stitch basics, and creative Serger-based quilting on the BERNINA L890.

Known for her enthusiastic, clear, empowering teaching, Sherry helps makers build confidence,
master new skills, and find joy in their craft.
