Let’s work on cutting skills, because that is the first step in getting a quilt together with a minimum of headaches! The block looks involved, but the sewing is E-A-S-Y. Two fabrics is all you need. No pattern to buy, I will have instructions. This class will meet in 4 sessions.

Just in time for that spring weather! A cute jacket to show off your quilting. "batting" is a crewneck sweatshirt (but you would never guess it). Lining is optional, but this will be a great opportunity to try the technique if you have never lines anything before. We'll even include some elementary fitting instructions to make it yours. The pattern includes piecing instructions for a variety of beautiful stars... but my sample will be made from my orphan blocks. This class will meet in 4 sessions.

This class is free to those who purchased their Brother Luminaire sewing/embroidery machine here at The Fabric Center. There will be two sessions, one focusing on sewing, the other will cover embroidery. Bring your machine for a hands-on experience or come and observe.
