Tuesdays, July 7, 14, 21, 28. 1-4pm. Quilt blocks do not need to be difficult to make a fascinating design. The Interlocking Flower in the next beginning quilt will be a two fabric block with optional trim and borders. This class introduces the process, making it perfect for those new to quilting. You will master precise cutting, chain piecing and matching seams while creating a beautiful floral design. The samples show either very traditional or very contemporary interpretation. Skill level is beginner - no prior quilting experience required, but a basic knowledge of your sewing machine is helpful). The class will feature all the elements of quilting - cutting, piecing accuracy, pressing, quilting and binding.

July 20, 22 & 24th from 10-2PM. $99 per student plus supplies (Includes a $25 gift certificate for supplies being donated by The Pieces of the Heart Quilt Guild for each sew camp participant). Our Kids Sew Camp is a dynamic program designed to teach children the lifelong skill of sewing. Perfect for beginners and returning creators, this camp guides participants through the exciting process of bringing fabric to life! Machines will be provided. Campers are asked to bring their lunch and drink plus basic sewing supplies - pins, scissors, tape measure, fabric marking pencil or pen and seam ripper.
